Description
Tank multifunction printer with automatic two-sided printing and a larger paper tray
HP Smart Tank 720 prints, copies and scans up to A4 format. It prints 15 pages/min black-and-white and 9 pages/min colour according to ISO, supports automatic two-sided printing and borderless photos. The tray holds 250 sheets of paper. You can connect it via dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct or USB; the manufacturer recommends it for 400–800 pages per month.

A4 flatbed scanner
Under the lid is the scanner glass for originals up to 216 × 297 mm with an optical resolution of 1,200 dpi. It can copy up to 13 copies/min black-and-white and 6 copies/min colour.
Button controls
Below the front edge of the lid there is a row of buttons and a small display. Most settings and printing from a phone are handled by the HP Smart app.
Ink and operation
The printer uses original HP bottles: black HP GT53XL 1VV21AE 135 ml for approx. 6,000 pages and colour HP GT52 for approx. 8,000 pages: cyan M0H54AE, magenta M0H55AE and yellow M0H56AE. The manufacturer also offers a smaller 90 ml black bottle GT53 (approx. 4,000 pages). Two replaceable print heads – black and tri-colour – are included in the package.
