Take-back of Electrical Equipment

As a seller of electrical equipment we provide free take-back of used electrical equipment in accordance with Czech Act No. 542/2020 Coll. on end-of-life products. Handing in an old appliance is always free of charge for you.

One-for-one (kus za kus)

When buying a new appliance you have the right to hand in one old appliance of a similar type and purpose free of charge, one for one. For delivered goods we also arrange free collection of the old appliance from the place of delivery.

How to hand in old electronics

You can use the take-back scheme in three ways:

  1. During your order — tick the option "I want to hand in old electrical equipment (one for one)" in the cart and describe the appliance. We will contact you and arrange free collection from the delivery address.
  2. Any time later — contact us at info@idcshop.cz or the phone number shown in the site footer. Depending on the arrangement we either provide free courier collection, or send you instructions to ship the appliance to our address with prepaid postage.
  3. Collected old equipment is regularly and free of charge handed over to a public collection point. It never ends up in mixed municipal waste.

What counts as electronic waste

Electronic waste includes, for example, computers, laptops, monitors, printers, keyboards, mice, power supplies, cables and other electrical equipment. Please hand in batteries and accumulators separately.

Do not dispose of electronics in mixed waste

Electrical equipment is marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. This symbol means the appliance does not belong in mixed municipal waste. Correct hand-in helps protect the environment and enables recycling of valuable materials.
