Withdrawal from Contract

Last updated October 21, 2026

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract without giving a reason within 14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier) take delivery of the goods; for a contract covering several items, from the day of delivery of the last item. This follows from Section 1829 of Czech Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code.

How to withdraw

To withdraw, send us an unequivocal statement within the period — you may use the model form below. Send the statement by e-mail to info@idcshop.cz or by post to the seller's registered address. The deadline is met if you send the statement before the period expires.

How to return the goods

The easiest way to withdraw is online – in your account (My orders → Withdraw from the contract) or, without an account, on the order page linked from your confirmation e-mail (or Order status: order number and e-mail), where you also choose how to return the goods:

  1. Packeta return code: we send you a code; hand the parcel in at any Packeta pick-up point or Z-BOX without printing a label. The return shipping fee of CZK 75 is deducted from the refund.
  2. Send it yourself to our address in Písek (given in the confirmation); you bear the direct cost of the return.
  3. Bring it in person to Písek by prior arrangement.

Return the goods without undue delay, at the latest within 14 days of the withdrawal. The status and the 14-day countdown are shown in your account or on the order page.

Refund

We refund within 14 days of the withdrawal, by the same means you paid with unless agreed otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you prove you have sent them. We refund the price of the goods and the delivery to you up to the cheapest delivery method we offer (Packeta); the surcharge for a more expensive delivery and the cash-on-delivery fee are not refunded.

Decrease in the value of goods

You are liable for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling them in a manner other than what is necessary to become acquainted with their nature and properties.

When withdrawal is not possible

Withdrawal is not possible in particular for goods customised or assembled to the consumer's specifications (e.g. a custom-built PC) and in other cases listed in Section 1837 of the Civil Code.

For electronic licences (a licence key delivered by e-mail, without a tangible medium) the right of withdrawal ends when the key is delivered: in the order the consumer expressly agrees to delivery right after payment and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal (Section 1837(l) of the Czech Civil Code). Until the key has been delivered, the licence purchase can be withdrawn from. A key that does not work is handled as a complaint – we replace it or refund the price.
