Description
Compact industrial label printer at a reasonable price
The Zebra ZT231 is a 4" industrial label printer with a metal frame, designed for light industry, warehouses and shipping. This version prints by thermal transfer at 300 dpi with a speed of up to 203 mm/s and is operated via a colour 4.3" touchscreen that also responds to a finger in a glove. It has a peel-off unit that separates the label from the backing after printing.

Maintenance without tools
The print head and the platen roller can be removed without tools. The printer itself monitors for failed print head dots, so you can schedule maintenance before it affects label quality. Media is loaded from the side according to colour-coded marks.
Media and operation
The ZT231 works with media 19.4–114 mm wide and 0.076–0.25 mm thick (continuous, die-cut labels, with a notch or black mark). The ribbon is 450 m long and 51–110 mm wide on a 25.4 mm core. The printer can later be expanded with a cutter, a peel-off unit, a second Ethernet port, Wi-Fi or UHF RFID.
