Description
Compact industrial label printer at a sensible price
The Zebra ZT231 is a 4" industrial label printer with a metal frame, designed for light industry, warehouses and shipping. This version prints by thermal transfer at a resolution of 203 dpi at speeds of up to 305 mm/s, and is operated via a 4.3" colour touchscreen that also responds to a finger in a glove.

Maintenance without tools
The print head and platen roller can be removed without tools. The printer itself monitors for failed print head dots, so you can schedule maintenance before it affects label quality. Media is loaded from the side according to colour-coded markings.
Media and operation
The ZT231 works with media 19.4–114 mm wide and 0.076–0.25 mm thick (continuous, die-cut labels, with notches or black mark). The ribbon is 450 m long and 51–110 mm wide on a 25.4 mm core. The printer can later be upgraded with a cutter, peel-off unit, second Ethernet, Wi-Fi or UHF RFID.
