VERBATIM BD-RE SL (10-pack) Blu-Ray/Spindle/2x/25GB

BD-RE SL 25GB 2x 10 Pack Spindle
The advent of Blu-ray technology has led to the introduction of high-capacity discs that meet the demands of the rapid development of high-definition television (HDTV) broadcasting.
The name Blu-ray discs is derived from the blue laser beam technology. The shorter wavelength of the beam causes its blue coloring. The blue laser has a wavelength of 405 nm, while the red lasers used with DVD discs have a wavelength of 650 nm. The advantage of the blue laser with its shorter wavelength is that smaller data pits can be written, thereby increasing the amount of data on the disc.
Blu-ray discs offer 3 to 5 times greater storage capacity than standard recordable DVD discs, enabling the recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition (HD) video recordings.

The recording layer returns to its original state after each erase cycle, so the disc is perfectly prepared for the next recording.
