UBIQUITI UNIFI NVR UNVR-G2 – UniFi Protect Network Video Recorder with AI

The UBIQUITI UNVR-G2 represents a modern approach to network video storage and security recording analytics. Its compact 1U design fits into standard racks, making installation easy in data centers and smaller office environments. The device is optimized for the UniFi Protect ecosystem and provides secure, centralized management of camera content with full AI support for object detection and classification.

Built-in AI algorithms in the UNVR-G2 provide automatic detection and classification of objects in video footage. The system recognizes persons, vehicles, animals, and other relevant objects, enabling creation of intelligent rules for alerts and analysis. These advanced features significantly improve security personnel efficiency, allowing them to focus on truly important incidents rather than manually reviewing all recordings.

The UNVR-G2 dimensions conform to standard 1U units designed for server racks. This means it fits seamlessly into your existing data center or server room without any special modifications. Installation is straightforward – the device connects to the network through standard 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps network ports. Power supply is provided by a unit that also installs into the rack.

Camera recordings are stored with encryption and access is protected using modern UniFi platform authentication mechanisms. The device supports automatic backup and data redundancy to prevent data loss in case of hard drive failure. System administrators can set data retention policies, automatic deletion of older recordings, and other features for efficient disk space management.
