More backup options
The Tapo C520WS unit is equipped with a memory slot that supports microSD cards with a maximum capacity of up to 512 GB. Another backup method is the Tapo Care cloud storage, which provides space for your security recordings. Recorded video is saved to the cloud for 30 days. You can view it retrospectively via the Tapo mobile app. You therefore have constant access to your recordings, even if the camera system is stolen or disconnected.

The Tapo C520WS camera unit uses artificial intelligence for advanced motion detection. It recognises people, pets and cars in the vicinity. When it detects movement, it sends you a notification. At the same time, you can easily adjust the detection sensitivity or monitor activity only in certain zones. When people enter the selected area, you will be notified immediately.

Practical equipment
The rotating C520WS camera also protects your privacy, as its lens is physically blocked by a cover. This means you can move freely around the garden without being recorded by the camera. Via the built-in microphone and speaker, you can easily speak with a person standing near the camera.
