The MC212CS-20 is a professional network device designed to connect copper and optical networks. The converter offers one Gigabit RJ-45 port (10/100/1000 Mbps) and one SC optical port for connection of single-mode fiber. Thanks to advanced WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, it can simultaneously transmit and receive data over a single optical fiber, using wavelengths of TX 1310 nm and RX 1550 nm.
The device is ideal for extending network reach in commercial applications such as security monitoring, wireless networks or connecting remote buildings. The maximum transmission distance reaches up to 20 km over single-mode optical fiber. Thanks to plug & play functionality, no configuration is required.

  The device is designed for reliable operation over a wide temperature range from -5 °C to +50 °C with operating humidity of 10–90 % non-condensing. Compact dimensions of 94.5 × 73 × 27 mm allow easy installation.
