Universal thanks to its modular design
The EXXO SMART cylinder insert offers the widest length adjustment range on the market. Its modular construction allows precise sizing on both the outside and the inside of the door, so it suits most standard European-profile locks. In the basic (default) configuration, the insert has a length of 37 mm on the outside and 41 mm on the inside of the door. Four modules are also available: 6 mm, 10 mm and two 15 mm. They allow the outside and inside cylinder length to be set precisely within the range of 31 mm to 62 mm and the insert length to be matched to the door thickness, without the need for other cylinder types.
Combining traditional and modern access
The EXXO SMART insert combines the advantages of traditional and smart unlocking. From the outside (exterior) the door can be unlocked with a classic key, while on the inside (interior) a special spindle enables quick and secure installation of the tedee smart lock. The tedee PRO model can be installed directly onto the insert, whereas for the tedee GO and GO2 the enclosed adapter must be used, which ensures smooth integration with the double-grooved spindle of smart locks.
Top-level security and durability
EXXO SMART meets the highest security class EN 1303:2015 Class 6.D and offers comprehensive protection: anti-snap, anti-bump, anti-drill and anti-pick. What do these built-in protective mechanisms specifically mean?

• Anti-snap – prevents the insert from breaking when someone attempts to forcibly knock it out.
• Anti-bump – resists bumping, i.e. an attempt to open the lock with a special "bump" key and light taps that cause the pins to jump and unlock.
• Anti-drill – protects against drilling into the pins and core of the insert and prevents a burglar from breaking through the lock with a drill.
• Anti-pick – a complex construction prevents feeling out and manipulating the pins inside the insert, so that the lock can be opened without a key.
  A two-row pin system with snake-groove grooving provides more than 200,000 real combinations. The insert has been tested for 100,000 locking and unlocking cycles, which ensures long-term reliability and durability.
  Reversible keys and flexible access
  The package includes 5 reversible keys, which allow convenient unlocking regardless of the orientation of the insert and can be shared with family or guests. Additional keys can easily be purchased via GERDA or authorised locksmiths using the enclosed key card, which guarantees flexibility and security for multiple users.
