OVERVIEW

The Signamax structured cabling system offers quality patch cables that are distinguished by excellent transmission characteristics, reliability and long service life even under increased stress. The patch cables are made with so-called molded boot protection, which secures the connector firmly to the protection and also reduces crosstalk values between individual pairs in the connector. This protection has a special thin design that guarantees these patch cables can be used in any patch panel or active element, even in devices with a high density of RJ45 ports. Quality RJ45 connectors with 50 µ gold contact plating are used for making the patch cables; the conductor (stranded) size is AWG 26. The patch cables are offered in all standard lengths, in several colours and with several types of protection (with or without so-called snag-proof protection). In the case of shielded patch cables, double shielding is ensured: each pair in the cable is individually shielded with aluminium foil, and a braid is additionally run around all four pairs in the cable for better shielding. All patch cables are thoroughly tested and fully meet the requirements of international standards for CAT5E.
