Description
An optical patchcord (jumper cable) is a standard or custom-made optical interconnect cable terminated with optical connectors at both ends. Patchcords are used to connect devices inside a rack cabinet, or to connect active elements to an optical route terminated in the cabinet. Patchcords are usually duplex (2x fiber, 4x connector); simplex cables (1x fiber, 2x connector) for single-fiber xWDM applications are also available on request. E2000, SC and LC connectors in the duplex version are joined by a clip - this is detachable and thus allows the duplex patchcord to be split into two simplex cords (not possible for the HEAVY DUPLEX rugged variant only). The patchcords listed are only a narrow selection from the range. We can also supply patchcords with E2000, ST, SC, LC, FC, MTRJ and VF-45 connectors.
