Water Guard is a compact flood detector that is characterized by easy and quick installation. After unpacking from the box, the device is immediately ready for use. The detector can be placed in locations where there is a risk of water leakage, for example by the washing machine, dishwasher, toilet, bathtub, washbasin, water heater or near the water supply or sewage system. This allows you to protect your home from unexpected water damage efficiently and without unnecessary complications.
Transformers Unique 2-in-1 Housing Design
Thanks to the Transformers housing, which is designed as a 2-in-1 combination, Water Guard can be installed loose by laying it on the floor of the location where there is a risk of water leakage, or securely mounted using a smart wall bracket so that it is not washed away in the event of rapid flooding. In that case, only the sensor equipped with 3 water detection contacts remains lying on the floor, while the detector itself stays at a safe installation height, attached to the smart bracket. The detector's waterproof housing with IPX5 protection is highly resistant to moisture and water jets from any direction.
Unusual Temperature Alarm
Water Guard is equipped with an integrated temperature sensor, which provides not only an overview of the current temperature conditions at the installation site, but also the option of alerting when preset temperature limits are exceeded, whether too high or too low. Once the temperature returns to the set range, the user receives notification that normal conditions have been restored. This practical function ensures effective provision of information, when needed, in connection with monitoring the ambient temperature of the monitored area, and can, for example, detect temperature anomalies during underfloor heating failures.
Alarm Event Verification
For immediate information about the scope and severity of an alarm event related to water leakage or flooding, a link with scenarios on other components of the security system can be activated in the ProSAFE application. A motion detector with a photo camera allows automatic capture and sending of images, while an intelligent IP camera offers live video monitoring of the affected area. Using visual photo or video verification of the alarm event, you can minimize the extent of damage, for example in technical rooms, spaces with filter tanks for pools, storage tanks, water reservoirs, water heaters, etc.
Compact, Reliable with Maximum Battery Life
The flood detector is powered by one replaceable CR123A battery, which, thanks to an efficient energy management mechanism, allows it to operate in continuous mode for an extremely long time, up to 3 years, without the need to replace the battery. In the ProSAFE mobile application, you can monitor the current status of information transmitted by the detector, such as battery status, radio signal level, indication of room temperature, as well as information about generated events.
