Description
Robobloq Qobo – programmable interactive snail for children, ages 3-8
Do you feel that your children have turned their backs on classic toys and would rather reach for a mobile phone? Let's change that with the Robobloq Qobo programmable snail. This interactive toy draws children into the action and teaches them many new skills. In the age of smart technology, we need smarter toys.
Robobloq Qobo belongs to the so-called STEAM toys, which help children learn in a fun way. Girls and boys feel they are just playing and do not even notice that they are acquiring new knowledge. The interactive snail helps develop logical thinking and teaches the basics of programming and a foreign language.
This modern toy impresses not only with its high-quality technical sophistication but also with its attractive appearance. In addition, it is compatible with LEGO, so your little ones can decorate the snail as they wish. The set includes 30 game cards, which can be fitted together like a puzzle.
Qobo - interactive snail for preschoolers
The Robobloq Qobo interactive toy is suitable for children aged 3 to 8. With the help of the programmable snail and a set of physical cards, children learn practical programming. The game guides them through 15 training lessons and challenges based on hands-on experience. Through touch and practical problem solving, children learn new skills much more easily.
A Free Mode with a map is also available, on which children arrange the cards in a logical sequence so that Qobo finds the diamond. Along its journey they learn a foreign language and colours together with it, and they also get physically involved, for example by dancing to music.
STEAM - a modern form of learning
Using the smart snail and game cards, children learn new skills without fully realising it. They feel they are only playing, while unknowingly acquiring a whole range of new knowledge. Qobo draws them into the action and helps develop their minds in many different areas - thinking in a foreign language, learning to recognise colours, improving motor skills while dancing, and logical thinking when planning a route. The game comprehensively develops children's imagination and creativity and teaches preschoolers independence in solving problems. All of this in a gentle form that is very enjoyable for them.
The package contains:
- an interactive snail whose body consists of 4 main parts - an internal mechanism that can read information from the cards; an interactive Touch-mouth that can speak; side parts and top of the shell that change colour, with a plate compatible with LEGO building sets
- a set of 30 programming cards with various functions. The cards can be connected to each other like a puzzle to create a complex programming function. The upper side of the cards has Braille lettering, so the game is also suitable for visually impaired children.
- a map for free play, showing for example the Eiffel Tower, Buckingham Palace or the Great Wall of China
- a cable for connecting Qobo to a computer for PC programming. It also serves as a charging cable for the snail
- a manual detailing 15 different training lessons and challenges
Control through coding
The Qobo snail has a built-in system inside its shell body that can read the coding from the individual programming cards. The package includes 2 sets of cards - directional cards and function cards.
In free play, your task is to get the figure from the Start card to the card with the diamond symbol. Directional programming cards help us with this - turn left, turn right and forward. Join the cards together like a puzzle and Qobo will follow the instructions on the cards.
Directional cards with a loop function are also available - the loop always has a beginning and an end. You can choose a card with a repeat of 3x or 6x. Place the snail on the card marking the repeat, then enter the directional arrows and end the repeat. Then place the interactive snail on the map and press the start button, which instructs it to follow the given commands.
The second set of cards shows pictures with a sound track or another task. For example, there is a card with a police car, a train, an apple, purple or blue colour, a river card, or 2 music cards, on which the snail stops and starts music that children can dance to at home. In short, fun at every turn.
Higher level of coding
For advanced players there is the option of connecting the interactive snail to a computer. You connect the toy to a PC simply using the pairing cable included in the package.
Download the Robobloq application to your computer and start more complex programming. Coding through the application is suitable for older children aged 6-17, for whom it represents an entry level into the world of programming.
