Description
The optical AOC cable is distinguished by excellent signal transmission over long distances without losses, is resistant to electromagnetic interference, and delivers the best possible picture compared with metallic cables.
The optical DisplayPort cable is used to connect two audio/video devices via the modern DisplayPort interface, such as an HD-DVD/Blu-ray player and an LCD/plasma TV. The cable transmits digital audio and video.
Thanks to AOC technology and optical fiber, the cables are manufactured in lengths of 10m, 15m, 20m, 25m, 30m and 50m. The thin and lightweight construction of the cable makes it suitable for all types of installations.
- Maximum resolution:
- 8K (7680x4320) at 60Hz and 24-bit color depth
- 5K (5120x2880) at 60Hz and 30-bit color depth
- 4K (3840×2160) at 144Hz and 24-bit color depth
- FULL HD 1080p (1920x1080) at 144Hz
- The optical cable converts electrical data signals to optical and back to electrical signals; a special chip is integrated in the connectors, therefore the cable is unidirectional and the connectors are marked SOURCE and DISPLAY
- Supports DisplayPort 1.4 standard
- Maximum data transfer: 32.4 Gb/s
- Gold-plated connectors: DisplayPort male <=> DisplayPort male
- Supports HDCP2.2, 3D and EDID
- Fully powered from the DisplayPort bus, no external power required
- Round thin optical cable (internal structure: optical cable + metallic conductors) suitable for all installations
- Optical cable thickness 4.6mm
- Thanks to the glass fiber, the cable is highly flexible and offers a very small bend radius of 20 mm
- Optical fiber: OM3 Multimode Fibre Optic
- Gold-plated contact surfaces ensure optimal signal transmission and prevent corrosion
- Cable color: black
- Operating temperature: 0°C to 50°C
- Packed in a paper box with EAN code and description + manual
- Cable length: 20 m
The cable contains active electronics that work only in one signal direction. The cable must always be connected with the devices switched off, and only in the direction marked on the cable.
The connector marked "Source" is always connected to the transmitting device (DVD, Blu-ray).
The connector marked "Display" is always connected to the display device (LCD, television, projector).
