PowerUp Airplane 2.0: electric dart red

Folding paper swallows entertains every generation. The PowerUp 2.0 RED set equips ordinary swallows with their own electric drive, thanks to which they stay in the air for more than half a minute and fly tens of metres.
This set works without complicated setup or a mobile app. Simply make a swallow, attach the motor, charge it in a flash and throw it straight away. Flying together will guaranteed entertain children and adults alike, and it will be a perfect gift that demonstrates the basic principles of aerodynamics and physics in a playful way.
Key features

• Flight length: More than 30 seconds of continuous gliding on a single charge.
• Lightning-fast charging: The included battery box charges the PowerUp 2.0 to full capacity in just 20 seconds.
• Endless creativity: Two different sets are available, distinguished by colour, red or blue. However, the propeller motor can easily be attached to any custom swallow as well. Let children come up with their own designs!
• High durability: The construction from carbon fibres and reinforced nylon safely withstands harder landings and falls.
• Low weight: The device itself weighs only 6 grams, so the swallow fully retains its natural flight characteristics.
• Speed: The powerful micromotor with 50,000 rpm can move the aircraft at speeds of up to 16 km/h.
Easy preparation and a lightning start within twenty seconds
With the POWERUP 2.0 you can manage without advanced technical knowledge, and even younger school-age children can easily fold a working model of a motorised swallow. The package contains pre-printed templates, but you can also use your own designs without any worries. Once the swallow is ready, you simply attach the carbon axle with the motor and charge the integrated supercapacitor using the included charging box. The whole charging takes exactly 20 seconds, after which you just need to release the swallow with its propeller spinning into the space and enjoy watching it fly smoothly. WARNING: Never charge for longer than 20 seconds. Ten seconds of charging will be enough for most flights.
  Durable and universal construction
Since crashes are an inseparable part of testing aircraft models, very light and extremely strong carbon fibres are used for the motor base and the propeller shaft. In addition, a flexible rubber cover safely protects the tip of the motor, so the aircraft reliably survives even unexpectedly hard landings.
This durable universal construction invites experimentation with different swallow shapes. The PowerUp 2.0 can carry models weighing up to 12 grams, but deliberately try to test the limits with more sophisticated designs.
Complete contents of the package for the first launch
Inside the package you will find one PowerUp 2.0 power unit, supplemented by two paper templates, a spare propeller, a portable fast-charging box and a detailed user manual. It is thus an ideal gift for curious pilots.
Do not forget to insert 3 AA pencil batteries into the charging box before flying (not included in the package). For a truly perfect flying experience you can also purchase the optional PowerUp Paper Templates Airframe (2.0/4.0) set at any time. It contains quality papers with attractive motifs of various aircraft, including a special water-resistant paper for smooth landings in wet grass.
Practical tips for the best flying experience
• Where to fly: Since the device naturally flies in circles and gradually circles your area, choose open spaces primarily for carefree fun. An ideal choice is a grassy park or meadow at least 50 metres in diameter, where soft grass reliably cushions any falls.
• Ideal weather: The small motor shows its true qualities exclusively in complete calm or during a very gentle breeze, while a stronger gust of wind could easily blow a freely flying swallow out of your reach.
• Age and safety: Although children aged 8 and up can normally handle and fold the swallow themselves, we recommend supervising them during play. The presence of an adult is important mainly because of the rapidly rotating propeller at the rear and to ensure overall safe movement outdoors.
• Pre-flight tuning: Careful folding itself has a fundamental influence on aerodynamics and overall flight characteristics. If your aircraft falls straight to the ground right after launch, the situation can usually be saved by gently bending the rear edges of the paper wings upwards, which increases the necessary lift.
• Protection against moisture: Landing with ordinary office paper in wet grass or puddles almost certainly means destruction of the fuselage and an unnecessary risk of damaging the sensitive motor electronics. If you do not own the optional template set, it is best to choose only dry days for launches.
