Sand filtration Planet Pool SFA 4

Sand filtration is the heart of every pool, ensuring that the pool water is of high quality and beautifully clean. The SFA 4 filter is designed for pools with a volume of up to 20 m3. The filter tank is made of high-quality polypropylene, holds 10 kg of filter sand, and resists corrosion and common pool chemicals. The filter tank includes a practical drain valve. The filter head is equipped with a 6-way valve, and the filter body is seated on a stable base. The filter is intended for outdoor use and is weather-resistant.
The filter medium is silica sand, stored in the filter tank. A characteristic of silica sand is that it is angular. Its grains have sharper cut edges than other types of sand, so they catch significantly more impurities. Pool water passes through the sand in the filter tank, the smallest impurities are trapped in the sand, and crystal-clear water returns to the pool. This is essentially the same principle by which water is filtered in nature. To ensure high filtration quality, we recommend rinsing the sand twice a month.
