Description
Rugged industrial label printer with easy operation
The Honeywell PD45S is an all-metal industrial printer for manufacturing, retail, transport and logistics, healthcare and public administration. It prints directly thermally and by thermal transfer at 203 dpi at a speed of 50–250 mm/s (2–10 ips), with a print width of up to 108 mm. It is operated via a color 3.5" touch display, has Ethernet, USB and RS-232 as standard, and this variant additionally includes a label peel-off module with liner rewinder and label-taken sensor (LTS).

Touch control
The FullTouch variant has a color 3.5" touch display. Menus and the web interface are available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian, among others.
All-metal construction
The printer frame is entirely metal and contains as few mechanical parts as possible. The printer measures 249 × 270 × 438 mm (W × H × D) and weighs 9.34 kg.
Ribbons, labels and operation
For thermal transfer the PD45S accepts wax, wax/resin and resin ribbons with the color coated outside or inside, width 51–110 mm, roll diameter up to 80 mm (approx. 450 m) on a 25.4 mm core. Labels may be gap, black mark, die-cut, with guide holes, tags or continuous tape, with a thickness of 0.076–0.255 mm; roll core 76 or 25.4 mm. The shortest label is 5 mm in tear-off mode, 12.7 mm with the peel-off module and 38 mm with the cutter.
Optional accessories (according to the manufacturer): Wi-Fi card, parallel card, applicator interface, industrial GPIO and serial interface, peel-off module with rewinder and cutter.
