Fried Treats with Orava
Young and old alike love fried foods - they can never get enough of French fries, fried fish, schnitzel or fašírka (Czech meatball). Even exotic dishes, such as falafel balls or Asian delicacies in tempura batter, have already found their loyal fans here. Any fried food is tender, crispy and tempting to bite into. And would nutrition experts wring their hands over them? If you have a clever appliance at hand to help you with frying, and use coconut oil instead of sunflower oil, which neither burns nor smokes, even advocates of healthy eating will be more satisfied. The Orava FR-111 deep fryer is made for home frying. Thanks to its square base, it does not take up much space on the work surface. It boasts a power rating of 1,600 W, a rotary temperature control and a practical mechanism for folding down the handle of the frying basket. The wire frying basket, the top cover and the frying pot with a maximum oil capacity of 2.5 litres, with its double non-stick surface, can be easily removed after use and thoroughly washed so that burnt oil residues do not build up in the fryer. The top cover of the appliance prevents oil from splattering during frying, but it is equipped with a practical viewing window so that you can keep an eye on the frying at all times.
Large basket and capacity of up to 2.5 l
The frying pot has a capacity of up to 2.5 litres and the wire frying basket is large enough. You can thus fry really generous portions at once, enough to satisfy the whole family. A large schnitzel, a good portion of fish fillet or a pile of baked fries easily fit into the frying basket. No more long waiting until everyone at the table is full of fried food.
Thermally insulated surface
Safety comes first. The frying pot has a thermally insulated surface including the handle for attaching the frying basket, so there is no risk of burning yourself while frying. Important safety features include a red indicator light that signals that the appliance is plugged in, and a green indicator light that signals that the temperature of the appliance is rising and the fryer is heating up. The risk of oil spattering is eliminated by the closing top cover of the appliance.
Large viewing window for frying under control
You do not need to open the top of the fryer and risk being hit by oil spattering in all directions in order to keep track of your fried treats. The opening lid of the appliance has a large transparent plastic window through which you can see well and keep the frying under control. This way, you can remove the fried food from the pot before it has a chance to burn.
