Mercusys MD210 Battery Video Doorbell

TP-Link Mercusys MD210, Battery Video Doorbell, video doorbell with 2K image and wide field of view
MD210 is designed for households that want to keep an eye on the area in front of the door without complicated installation. The video doorbell lets you receive notifications about visitors and motion, communicate with a visitor or use preset voice replies.
MD210 captures images at 2K 3MP resolution, specifically 2304 × 1296 pixels, and offers a wide 160° diagonal field of view. The user thus gets an overview of a larger part of the area in front of the door. Infrared night vision with a range of up to 7.6 metres allows you to monitor activity at the entrance even in poor lighting conditions.
When the doorbell rings, the user can answer the call directly on the phone and communicate with the visitor via two-way audio with ambient noise suppression. If the call cannot be answered, automatic and quick voice replies with preset messages can be used.
MD210 can use local AI detection to recognise people and motion and then send a notification to the MERCUSYS app. Person detection is available without monthly fees. The user can also set activity zones and monitor only selected parts of the area in front of the door.
The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 5,200 mAh allows up to 180 days of operation on a single charge. Charging is done via USB-C, and the battery can be recharged after removing the video doorbell or directly on the wall using a power bank. Thanks to its wireless design, no power cable needs to be run during installation. The device can be fixed using 3M adhesive tape or screws.
Recordings can be saved locally on a microSD card with a capacity of up to 512 GB or stored in the MERCUSYS Camera Care cloud storage. Local storage allows recordings to be kept within the home without needing to use a cloud service. The user can therefore choose the storage method according to their needs. MD210 also supports integration with the Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings platforms. Connection to the home network is provided by Wi-Fi in the 2.4 GHz band.
The video doorbell has IP54 protection and is designed for operation at temperatures from -20 °C to 45 °C. This makes it suitable for installation in the area in front of the entrance door.
