Dual-Channel Connection for Different SSD Types
The INTER-TECH KT015 is a compact solution for expanding your computer's storage capacity. Thanks to two independent M.2 slots, you can connect a modern NVMe SSD and an older SATA SSD at the same time into a single PCIe port on your motherboard. This approach is especially useful if your motherboard doesn't have enough free M.2 slots or if you want to combine different types of storage for different purposes.
Compatibility with Older SATA Drives
The second slot is designed for M.2 SSDs with SATA interface and uses a B-key connector. If you have an older SATA SSD that you want to continue using, you don't have to retire it – simply connect it to this slot. The SATA slot provides throughput of up to 6 Gbit/s, which is the traditional standard and is fully sufficient for stable operation of older drives and archive storage.
Flexible Solution for Storage Expansion
The INTER-TECH KT015 is ideal for several scenarios: you can combine a fast NVMe SSD for the operating system with a SATA SSD for data and media, or vice versa. The adapter is also suitable for laptops and compact PCs where additional ports are lacking.
