The Push blood pressure monitor measures systolic and diastolic blood pressure as well as pulse rate, and can detect an irregular heart rhythm – arrhythmia. You see the measurement results immediately on the large screen and can compare them with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).
The Push blood pressure monitor is approved as a CE medical device. Clinical testing confirmed that the results from the Push blood pressure monitor match measurements taken with a stethoscope. iHealth blood pressure monitors are approved by the European Society of Hypertension.
Tips for correct blood pressure measurement
At least 30 minutes before measuring, avoid excessive physical activity, stress and smoking, and do not eat or drink. Remove tight clothing and accessories from your arm, and sit with your feet flat on a horizontal floor (do not cross your legs). Rest your forearm on a table – the cuff should be approximately at the level of your heart. Do not talk during the measurement and stay still.
Blood pressure fluctuates naturally over the course of the day. The highest values usually occur during the daytime and the lowest around midnight. Discuss values measured at regular intervals with your doctor.
