A combination of a passive USB 3.0 hub with a Gigabit Ethernet adapter, for easy and fast connection of your favorite USB devices to a notebook, tablet or PC with a single USB cable, and for high-speed access to the network and internet via Gigabit Ethernet. Thanks to its compact dimensions and low weight, it is an ideal accessory for travel.
It offers three USB 3.0 ports with Plug & Play and standard USB charging - the hub automatically detects whether a USB charging device is connected. The USB 3.0 interface is especially important for data transfers from USB 3.0 memory cards and flash drives, where its high transfer speed is most useful. The hub is powered from the USB bus and has built-in overvoltage protection for your computer in case of a short circuit on peripheral devices. It is, of course, backward compatible with USB 2.0.
The Gigabit Ethernet port provides high-speed access to the network and internet. You therefore don't need to purchase another GigaLAN card, whether for a PCI/PCIe slot or an Express/CardBus slot. The USB 3.0 specification ensures maximum and reliable use of the 10/100/1000 Mbps speed. Network connection can also be used on Android systems, but support for this function must be included by the manufacturer in the given Android device. You can easily check this in the network connection settings: More networks - there must be an Ethernet item.
