The i-tec USB 3.0 Charging HUB 13 port is the ideal accessory for anyone whose notebook, ultrabook or PC lacks USB ports and who has to constantly connect and disconnect their favorite USB devices, such as flash drives, mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, MP3 players, printers, etc.
This HUB offers 13 USB 3.0 ports with Plug & Play function and standard USB charging – the HUB automatically detects whether a USB charging device is connected. Thanks to the 13 USB 3.0 ports, up to 13 devices can be charged at the same time. The USB 3.0 interface is especially important for data transfers from USB 3.0 memory cards and flash drives, where its high transfer speed is fully utilized. An external power adapter is included in the package, which ensures stable charging from the USB port and the performance of the HUB, providing a charging output of up to 10 W per port.
The HUB does not require driver installation; simply connect it to your computer using the USB cable and you can start using it immediately. The HUB has built-in overvoltage protection for your computer in case of a short circuit on peripheral devices. Backward compatibility with USB 2.0 / 1.1 is standard.
The HUB is installed automatically by the system and does not require any drivers. Connect the power adapter connector to the HUB and the adapter to a 230V socket. Then connect the HUB to a free USB port (USB 3.0, 2.0 or 1.1 standard) of your notebook / PC using the USB cable and follow the on-screen instructions. The HUB will be installed and displayed in Device Manager as "Generic USB Hub" and "Generic USB Hub SuperSpeed".
