Custom PC assembly in Písek: how it works from order to handover
Last updated October 22, 2026
Where and who
We build and test computers in Písek, Velké náměstí 105/4. Goods are handed over here, complaints received here, and here you can collect your build in person – always by prior arrangement by phone or e-mail, Monday to Friday 9–17. The shop is operated by ACES Services spol. s r.o.; the workshop and warehouse are in Písek because that is closest to our customers in South Bohemia and because we want to build the computers ourselves, not through a third party.
1. Proposal: configurator or a ready proposal
You put the build together in the configurator step by step – processor, board, memory, graphics, drive, PSU, case, cooling – and optionally a monitor and peripherals. The price is computed live from parts in stock and compatibility is checked on the server at every change, again on add-to-cart and at checkout: a build we could not assemble never reaches the cart. Not keen to start from scratch? Pick a class on Office PC, Home PC, Gaming PC, Pro gaming PC or Top PC and adjust the proposal.
2. Order and payment
After checkout you receive a confirmation with the list of parts. Pay by card, bank transfer, or cash or card on collection. The contract is formed by our order confirmation; until the parts arrive in Písek you can cancel.
3. Parts to Písek
Parts are either in our own stock or ordered from distributors right after payment – automatically, from the cheapest supplier that has them in stock. If a part runs out meanwhile, we offer a replacement of the same or better class at the same price, or cancellation. The parts' delivery date is shown in the cart and the e-mail.
4. Assembly
One technician builds the machine from start to finish: mounting in the case, cable routing, thermal paste, BIOS update, memory profile. Only the parts from your order are used – no substitutions without your consent.
5. Installation and burn-in
We install the operating system if it is part of the order (a Windows licence from our catalogue, or Linux at no charge), drivers and updates. The build then passes a burn-in test: several hours of processor, graphics and memory load with temperature and stability monitoring. We send the temperature results on request.
6. Handover
- In person in Písek: we power the computer up with you, show the temperatures and hand it over with the parts' boxes and documents. Payment on the spot by cash or card is possible.
- By courier: the build is packed in the case's original box with padding inside the case (the graphics card is secured for transport) and shipped insured. After delivery check the card as described in the enclosed note.
What is included and what is not
Included: assembly, OS and driver installation, burn-in test, packaging, warranty on the build as a whole. Not included: a Windows licence (add it in the configurator), shipping (free from CZK 6,000), monitor and peripherals.
Warranty and service
Every part carries its maker's warranty and the build as a whole carries ours. A fault is handled in one place – in Písek or by post. After the warranty we keep repairing and upgrading: graphics swap, more memory, cleaning.
Frequently asked questions
- How long does a custom build take?
- Parts in stock are assembled and tested usually within a few working days of payment; distributor parts add their delivery time, shown in the cart. The burn-in test takes several hours and is part of the date.
- Can I collect the computer in Písek?
- Yes, at Velké náměstí 105/4, by prior arrangement by phone or e-mail, Monday to Friday 9–17. We power it up with you and show the test results; payment on the spot is possible.
- What if a part is out of stock?
- The configurator offers only parts in stock with us or a distributor. If a part runs out meanwhile, we offer a replacement of the same or better class at the same price, or cancel and refund.
