Frequently asked questions

How strong a power supply do I need for a graphics card?
Every card lists the manufacturer's recommended power supply wattage. Mid-range cards usually want 550 to 650 W, high-end cards 750 to 1 000 W. Modern cards with the 12V-2x6 connector need an ATX 3.x power supply. The configurator checks that the power supply in a build meets the card's recommendation.
Will the card fit in my case?
The card's specifications list its length in millimetres and the number of slots it occupies. Compare that with the maximum graphics card length stated by the case manufacturer. Three-fan cards are often over 300 mm long and do not fit compact cases.
How much memory should a graphics card have?
8 GB is enough for Full HD gaming, we recommend 12 to 16 GB for 1440p and 16 GB or more for 4K, video work and AI models. More memory does not speed up a weak chip, but it prevents stutter in games with large textures.
Can you pick a card to match the rest of my build?
Yes. In the configurator you choose the processor, board and power supply, and for each card you see whether it matches the rest of the build and whether the power supply can drive it. We assemble and test the build to your design in our Písek workshop.
