Frequently asked questions
- Will a compatible toner void my printer warranty?
- No. The printer maker cannot refuse the warranty just because you used a compatible cartridge; it would have to prove the cartridge caused the fault. With quality cartridges this does not happen in practice. Compatible toners carry the statutory 24-month warranty.
- Will the printer recognise a compatible toner?
- Compatible cartridges carry their own chip, the printer accepts them and shows the fill level. On some models a printer firmware update can trigger a warning; for our cartridges the specifications state whether they are verified for the current firmware.
- How do I choose a compatible toner for my printer?
- Use the choice by printer model in the Printer supplies finder, it shows both original and compatible cartridges that fit. A compatible cartridge's name always carries the code of the original it replaces.
