- How do I pick a compatible ink that really fits?
- Choose your printer model in the Printer supplies finder; it lists only the cartridges for your printer. On every compatible cartridge we state the original code it replaces, such as 302XL or T0711. Cartridges for another region or printer generation will not fit or will be rejected by the printer.
- Does a compatible cartridge void the printer warranty?
- No. The printer manufacturer cannot refuse the warranty merely because you used a compatible cartridge; it would have to prove the cartridge caused the fault. Compatible cartridges carry the statutory 24-month warranty. Our guide Compatible or original toner covers the details, and it applies to inks too.
- The printer reports a non-original cartridge, what now?
- It is an information message; confirm it and the printer carries on. Sometimes the ink level is not shown, which is normal with compatible cartridges. If the printer rejects the cartridge outright, check that the protective tape was removed and the contacts are clean, then contact us and we will check the cartridge against your printer's firmware version.
